Food at Kilsby House

Start the day with a Great Kilsby Breakfast: This includes Cereals, Yoghurts, Fruit Juice and Fresh Fruit. Follow this with any combination of Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Roasted Tomato, Mushrooms, Hash Browns and Baked Beans.

Our breakfast menu also includes freshly prepared boiled, scrambled or poached eggs on toast using local free-range eggs.

Home-made bread is provided every morning along with a selection of home-made preserves. A selection of teas and cafetiere coffee (decafeinated available) or hot chocolate are all available. A high-chair is provided for our very young guests.

In Your Room: Complimentary Tea & Coffee making facilities are available in your room and are replenished on request.

Eating Out: There is a variety of choice for your evening meal or lunch in Llanwrtyd Wells, with its three pubs and two quality restaurants. Take-away facilities are also available and there are more, excellent pubs and restaurants a 15 or 20 minute drive away towards Builth Wells and Llandovery. If you wish to leave your car at the house it is a pleasant 1 mile walk into town but you will need to take a torch for the walk back in the evening.

Fly fishing £5 per day for adults (£20 per week), £3 for juniors.

Terms & Conditions (Important - please read):

Payment and Cancellation Policy: At the time of booking you will be required to provide your credit card details and an amount equivalent to the first night's fee will be taken as a deposit - this is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made up to 2 days prior to arrival no further payment will be taken. For a cancellation made less than 2 days prior to arrival or in the case of a no-show, the full amount will be charged. Alternatively you can pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer but the same conditions apply.

Non Availability of Accommodation: We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In this unlikely event we would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. However if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by your for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival: Your room will be available to you from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged in advance. Please try not to arrive earlier as we may still be busy preparing your accommodation, and won't be available to welcome you.

Departure: Please be ready to leave your room by 11.00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged in advance. Please try to leave your room clean and tidy to enable us to prepare for our next guests in good time. If you have made use of any further service for which payment has not been made during your stay we will provide you with an invoice which is payable on departure.

Damages and Breakages: Please take care with our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.

Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
